Purposed to Live

Life is full of unexpected opportunities—paths we never would have imagined taking. I’m constantly reminded of this truth as I look back and see so many doors God has opened for me, ones I never expected to walk through.

This past week has been incredible! I’ve attended a rally at the Supreme Court of the United States, witnessed D.C. during a U.S. presidential inauguration, participated in a prayer event where both Israeli and Ukrainian parliament members were present, listened to a talk about the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (with many abortion survivors in attendance!), and today, I marched for life with the March for Life! I never could have imagined that my final semester before graduating would bring me here, but God’s plans often go beyond our expectations.

At the March for Life rally, I heard a quote for the first time: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” What a powerful reminder that life is meant to be LIVED! And why? Because God has given us purpose—each of us, right where we are, for His glory. That alone is reason enough to be joyful. Every day, in every moment, He is working in ways we can’t yet see. How sweet it is to live for Him!

That quote holds an even greater truth: as believers, we are called to action. The enemy prowls, seeking to destroy (1 Peter 5:8), but He has not left us defenseless. God has equipped us with His armor and the weapons to stand firm (Ephesians 6). We should not just sit on the sidelines—we should be walking boldly in faith, reflecting His Spirit in all we do.

Whether you’re in the busiest city or the smallest town—what matters is being willing to say yes to God’s call. There is no better time than now. There is no better place than where He has placed you. Life is happening around you, and 'tis so sweet to live every moment for Him!

Don’t just survive the day. Step forward in faith. Live with intention, knowing that every moment, every opportunity, and every challenge is shaping you for His purpose. You were created for more than just existing—you were purposed to live; go live for Him!
